Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Ultimate Legacy is a trading name of Ultimate Image Limited, Fairview, Church Lane, Haxey, Doncaster DN9 2HZ.
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on ultimatelegacy.co.uk, what each one does, and how you can change your mind at any time. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are needed to make the site work at all. Others help us understand how the site is used, or let advertising platforms measure whether their ads were useful. We also use closely related technologies such as pixels and local storage; where this policy says “cookies”, it means all of them.
How We Ask For Your Consent
The first time you visit, a banner asks how you would like to be treated. We group cookies into three categories:
- Strictly necessary — always on. These are disclosed to you rather than consented to, because the site cannot function without them.
- Analytics — off unless you allow them.
- Marketing — off unless you allow them.
Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories is set until you choose to allow it. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can change your decision later at no disadvantage.
Your choice is stored in a cookie named uiiq_consent for 180 days, after which we will ask again. Clearing your browser cookies also clears your choice.
Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary
Required for the website, your basket and checkout to work. These cannot be switched off.
- uiiq_consent — remembers your cookie choices (180 days)
- woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_* — keep your basket and checkout state during your visit
- wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-* — maintain your session if you have an account with us
- WordPress security tokens — protect forms against cross-site request forgery
- __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid — set by Stripe to process payments securely and detect fraud
Analytics
Set only if you allow the analytics category. They help us understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. We do not use them to identify you by name.
- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4 identifier (up to 2 years)
- _gid — Google Analytics session identifier (24 hours)
Marketing
Set only if you allow the marketing category. These are placed by advertising platforms to measure whether an advert led to a visit or a purchase, and to show you relevant advertising on their own services.
- _fbp, fr — Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising measurement
- _pinterest_ct_ua, _pin_unauth — Pinterest advertising measurement
- _ttp, _tt_enable_cookie — TikTok advertising measurement
Media Delivery
Your legacy film and other video are delivered through Bunny.net. The video player may store technical data on your device so playback works smoothly. It is not used for advertising.
Third Parties
Where a cookie is set by another company, that company is responsible for it and its own privacy notice applies:
| Provider | Purpose | Privacy notice |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics | policies.google.com/privacy | |
| Meta | Advertising measurement | facebook.com/privacy/policy |
| Advertising measurement | policy.pinterest.com | |
| TikTok | Advertising measurement | tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy |
| Stripe | Payments and fraud prevention | stripe.com/gb/privacy |
| Bunny.net | Media and video delivery | bunny.net/privacy |
Changing Your Choices
You can review or change your cookie choices at any time here:
Withdrawing consent stops further cookies in that category being set. It does not delete cookies already stored on your device, which you can remove through your browser.
Managing Cookies In Your Browser
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies through its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of this site working, including the basket and checkout. aboutcookies.org has step-by-step guidance for each browser.
Your Rights
Where cookies involve personal data, you have rights under UK GDPR, including access, erasure and objection. These are set out in our Privacy Policy. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, though we would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes To This Policy
If we add or remove a cookie that needs your consent we will update this page and, where the change is significant, ask for your consent again. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
