Memento FAQs
Everything you need to know about our physical keepsakes
Do I need an app to watch the video?
No — just tap the NFC or scan the QR code and it opens directly in your phone’s browser. No app download required.
Will it work on iPhone and Android?
Most modern smartphones support QR scanning and NFC. QR always works with any phone camera; NFC works on iPhone XS and newer, and most Android phones made after 2018.
Can different mementos link to different moments?
Yes — we can link each memento to the full film or a specific chapter. This means you could have one card that plays the whole story and another that opens a favourite moment.
What if the memento is lost or damaged?
We can replace it and re-link it to the same video. Your legacy video is always safely stored — the memento is simply the key to access it.
Can I keep the video private?
Yes — the landing page is only accessible via the direct link encoded in your memento. It is not indexed by search engines and cannot be found by browsing. We can add extra privacy options if required.
